I will dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
